Smart hub wont download apps

Updating the Smart Hub app as per the respective country. Allow the new apps to populate the Smart menus: this can take a minute or so depending on your internet speed. Once the Smart Hub is updated, reverting the country code back to US. Again, the Smart Hub apps will update. Launch apps and Enjoy! Hi, I was facing a similar issue. This problem is mainly due to location settings in the TV. I assume this problem is faced if the location is set to USA. If you are in any other location please change it to your country and it should work fine. I followed an alternative step which i think would be helpful. Move forward till smart Hub terms and Conditions policy page. You get a tab with different countries.

What's the model code and software version of your TV? Also, you can try a Smart Hub reset. Thanks but somehow I managed to get it to work I have the same problem. I bought used tv today and I reset all settings and from that moment i can't download any app.

While playing a video game or watching something, the app automatically loads and this happens even after I uninstalled this app. It reinstalls itself and takes me right to the app, thereby ending my current session of Netflix, game etc.

Having the same problems which all of you are. I have contacted Samsung Tech Support several times and they all say, they have not received any complaints regarding this issue. So i restored the tv to factory settings, unplugged the evolution kit, and restored the TV without the evolution kit to factory settings as well. Everything is updated firmware.

I can install apps fine before I plugged in my evolution kit, but I still can't afterwards. Then I call up samsung. They ended up transfering me to remote management who resets everything again, the guy ends up saying that he doesn't know why its not working and then says he is going to transfer me to his supervisor. Ten minutes later I get hung up on without talking to anyone else.

So i play around with the settings, and I notice that when its redownloading the stock apps in the smarthub I get a download error. Also I'm missing my playstation now app. I gave up for the night and went to bed. Today, I called back and the guy on the other line did the same steps the other guy did and then left to go talk to people and the guy said that one of his coworkers had a similar issue today and that they think it's a problem on samsungs servers.

After doing the factory reset listed here all apps worked again after a year of messing with the Smarthub issue. We also messed with blocking of cloudfront. I tried some self-diagnostics without success. I connected with a Samsung helpdesk rep via chat and he walked me through an hour of testing much of which I'd already done myself with no success. Before doing that I poked around the web until finding this thread.
